Before we married he was known as a player, is his past catching up with him?

Your husband sounds a little insecure. Maybe that is why he was a player in his past. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to go out with out him and not be trusted. Do you flirt with other men in front of him? Do you stay out all night, come home drunk etc? Why would he feel so uncomfortable with you going out? If he is insecure nothing will help, besides counseling. He needs to work on his issues. Good luck hope everything works out with you.

People often judge other's by what they would or did do. Not sure there is much here you can do, except avoid the very appearance of "evil".

people who accuse are sometimes guilty of things themselves.
either he is guilty of something, or he has been ( in the past as you said )
just make him realize he's the only one you want.

You and your husband have trust and communication issues.

You need to talk and listen to each other.

Yup, you've got it right. His trust issues are more about him than they are about you.
