The concept of Executive Privilege dates back to Thomas Jefferson. You got a problem with that?

The concept is simple. If Congress or the law is going to get sicked on every assistant and aide that talks to decision makers, those assistants and aides will not offer real advice. They'll offer CYA advice instead.

Deal with it! Bush is in fine company in this instance.

You flagged Kelly W for abuse? Boy what a little bubble you libs exist in? Her comments are nothing compared to what you libs dish out to conservatives.

It doesn't matter who is in office, the issues are always the same. No one person should have veto power, or authority to over rule a US Court. Bush hasn't done anything other Presidents haven't done. He is just to stupid to cover it up.

Like Nazi Germany or the U.S.S.R, you should do your self a favor and study a little history and for anyone who thinks that no other president has done something like this they need to do the same thing.

There are plenty of examples of US presidents acting undemocratically and unconstitutionally. Just since the 30s you have FDR, Ike, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton as forerunners of Bush...only the two real incompetents Ford and Carter have been more or less straight...maybe they were to stupid to be front-line politicos...

not another president that i know of, he has set many precedents and in my opinion they haven't been good! he behaves as though he 'thinks' he is a king or dictator to be more accurate.....our current administration behaves more like the mafia, they think they are untouchable....IMPEACHMENT is the answer but i think people in a position to initiate that process are probably scared to do it, they may fear for their lives, i know i would!, but i'd do it anyway if i could...there is no excuse for his behaviour! everyone, please see the film BOBBY if you haven't, what a contrast in political styles between the kennedy era and now! our current president is unfortunately a greedy warmonger...NOT a peacemaker, isn't that at least obvious? jeez, whats wrong with his remaining supporters, have they lost their ability to reason?
