Yes! If you can't trust your friends then you can't respect them. People who are dishonest are impossible to have as friends 'cuz you can never believe a word they say and they're always pissin' you off! I'd rather have two honest friends than 100 dishonest friends! I want to be able to respect my friends. There aren't too many people I've run across that I truly respect. What's devastating is when you believe you have a friend who is honest and who you have learned to respect tremendously, lets you down by being dishonest! The reason this world is so mixed up is because people are not careful with what they do and say! I raised my children to be honest, all the while preaching about how they will have a better life if they are trustworthy.

I think they are the core of any type of relationship. There has to be a certain level of both in order for the relationship to be productive.
You don't necessarily build the relationship on Honesty and Respect but you need both in order to make the relationship last.

Those two qualities play a huge factor in determining who I want to be friends with. The other thing is if we have anything in common and how we hit it off from the get go in terms of conversation wise.

Honestly, most of my best respectful friendships with women happened AFTER we become lovers first!!
Worked out great for all of us!!
Anything less is just acquaintances...But they can be okay too.

friendship develops with somebody whilst u like conversing to a definite individual and u start up getting mushy spending time along with her or him. it truly is often bcos u share consumer-friendly suggestions and suggestions and slowly u experience linked to that individual and want to be with them for as lots longer a time as achieveable. it truly is like, in simple terms as u like spending time with ur buddies because of the fact it relaxes u and u can share ur suggestions and problems with them devoid of any inhibitions. Then at a later point u want to objective and keep that individual for existence and dont want to lose them and that's how the intensity will advance and then one positive day u exhibit ur thoughts and if the different individual reciprocates u r ultimately in love. it truly is a suited adventure yet frankly from my own studies, it truly is greater proper to proceed to be good buddies, bcos after u r in love, at a later point, u start up taking one yet another with none attention and the outstanding thing relating to the friendship isn't there anymore. Ur superb buddies exchange into the persons whom u cant share with anymore. it truly is painful at circumstances. it truly is a tragic area approximately relationships that improve from freindship yet i know it truly is a certainty and happens with maximum such like relationships. some human beings could have had a greater proper adventure im confident and that i could say they have been fortunate. i've got self assurance the greater proper way is to love ur buddies yet no longer be in love with them, it truly is lots greater proper that way. regards ,,,, billyboy

Yes, definitely! If I am friends w/ someone and they deceive me. I normally cut them off of the friendship fountain.
