Predetermined? Honestly, I don't think so. Why are some people born with heart problems, right from the get go?? We just try to do things right, health wise. We never know whats down the road. People are living a lot longer these days.

In general, yes. When you exercise, your heart rate goes up, that builds your heart. When you are at rest, your heart does not need to work so hard (less beats used), that way you live longer.
As individuals, the number of actual heart beats we get to experience, depends on luck.

I agree with Yousif. There are too many factors for it to be predetermined. What if the person decides to smoke? That'll certainly cut down on your living.

I'd say no. Otherwise people who get more exercise would die sooner than those who don't. (The heart beats faster during physical activity.)
