why not?? wear whatever you feel comfortable in to run.. and you can still wear it to school no one will care.

Yeah I do it all the time!!... and I have a closet full of nice running clothes, yet i still enjoy running in my rib knit tanks the best

as long as you wash it before you wear it to school again, there's really no problem
