i dont think anyone can be ugly if you think about. i can turn a male nerd into a hot guy at my school by helping him tone up, giving him a nice hair cut, bleaching his teeth, proactive, and a shopping spree.
i rather have someone smart.

A smart kid that is not good looking for sure. Smart kids can grow up and get great jobs with great earning potential. Then if their looks bother them, they can get them changed at a plastic surgeon nowadays.
Beauty can be gone in an instant, education lasts a lifetime!

Beautiful people get hired faster and make more money. As long as the kid isn't a dummy they'll be fine.
Personally, I'd want both for my son, but he's already a handsome little charmer that's too smart for his own good, so I really don't have to want much for him besides opportunity.

As long as he or she is healthy, happy and well taken care of by their parents, I could care less. I would love for my child to be smart, but if they're not, then hey, we can work on that. I'll love them just the same. I wish that people who enter their children in beauty pagents had the same attidude.

Definitely a smart child. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if you don't like what you are looking at turn your head.

An intelligent child who is not that great looking. I believe intelligence is much more important.

I don't think you'll find any parents out there that will actually admit that their kids are not good looking!
Mine happens to be incredibly handsome and wise beyond his 5 years... he's also super sensitive because of his intelligence and for that I worry...
