He is a hypocrite. Suffers from "my s*it doesn't smell" syndrome.

That's because Gore has made Global Warming into a religion. Try to disprove it and you are a heretic. And since he is the founder, he gets to make the rules. Much like the indulgences sold to the rich by the Catholic church in earlier times Gore gets to sin against Global Warming by making up stuff like "Carbon Offsets". See how this works?

And how many times has Bush said "we need to end our dependence on foreign oil" now? In just about every SOU address.
And what has he done about it? What quantity of fossil fuels does his ranch consume every day?
Reality is that you may not like the messenger(s) but we have to do something to force the politicians to massively increase gas mileage for cars to start, instead of this endless pointless debate and obsession about Gore's "hypocrisy".
It isn't as if he's the only one warning about global warming or "our dependence" on foreign oil.

Al Gore is the example I want to emulate.
Have always wanted to live in a huge house and have my own jet, stage a rock concert and banish windmills.
The only difference between me and Al is that he preaches what he does not practice, and I do what I say (i.e. no global warming, so I do not buy hybrids, and I certainly don't do drugs like Al III).

He should sell everything he has and give all his wealth to charity, to take care of others not so lucky.
Like the libs would have us do with tax money.
Then he can move into a cave, eat what he can kill with a rock or pick growing wild, really live a GREEN lifestyle.
After he's lived in a cave for two years,he can open his mouth.

You miss the point. Carbon credits can be purchased to offset your activity. By the way, there is also a website where you can offset cheating on you spouse by buying credits from someone who doesn't cheat.

No, first of all, he's a Democrat elite (or at least thinks he is, therefore, he is), he buys "carbon credits" from himself so he can be "guilt free". It's really that simple, there are no inconsistencies in Al's mind.

He also runs his mansions on the green energy, etc.
Exaggeration doesn't help your case. Present all the facts, please. You have a point. It's made weaker by deliberately (or perhaps you didn't know...) leaving out facts.
I'm sure you see how ineffective it would be to travel by wagon.
