Bush is Lame Duck. He will do many other things before his term is up. Watch him closely. He will fall on his own sword, as will his cronies.....

The Supreme Court appointed G.W. in 2000. From then 'til 2006 the Republicans controlled all branches of the Federal government while conservative C.E.O.s controlled all media (they still do BTW)and were too busy enjoying unlimited power to think about contradicting the fuhrer. Also, the reasons I believe Pelosi took impeachment off the table: 1. If Bush were impeached Cheney would take over (Aahhh!) 2. If both were impeached, Pelosi's next in line and the move looks like a power grab.

Because there is no way, under the current political climate, that 2/3 of the Senate would vote to convict.

Thus, there is little point in the House filing a Bill of Impeachment, since it would have no more net effect than filing a non-binding resolution.

You have proof that Bush or Cheney were directly involved in any of these so-called scandals you are talking about? I'm sure if you had concrete evidence, then so would the prosecutors. Get over it, you're wasting your energy.

Those that put them in office have control of what is going to happen to them as long as they are in there.

Lets hope things will be easier to find out about them once they are out of there.

I wish Congress would hold off on trying to get the goods on them until then.

There is no proof of that they have committed any crimes.
