Youve hit the nail squarely on the head my friend.
No matter what you think of nationalized health care, this cost of this Iraqi Folly would have paid for every American to receive quality coverage. If we can pay to kill Iraqis and our soliders, cant we pay to give medical care to our poor?
Not saying *exactly* that Im "for" nationalize health care, just that the arguements against it are growing mighty thin.

Where have you been this has been going on for yrs not just since bush do you realize no matter who is in office they get the blame for anything and everything that happens it's like you all think they can actually single handedly cause all these major problems and cost when in reality it wasn't any better beofre bush and if you want to turn it around there is more americans that bought houses that was far above there means of financing instead of a modest home they could afford so it ended up with several of them losing them causing the collapsing market if you want to blame someone then blame the people who let these loan companies start preying on people who have poor credit and that has been around for so many years i can't even remember who was in office back then but i know when i purchased my first home my interest rate was 12 % in the early 1990's and that was with good credit so blame who ever you want the truth is life changes so does the financial market and taxes if it didn't we would all still be working for >25cents a day and getting a brand new car for $500.00 and look at it now yet how many presidents have been in during these eras? sorry i just don't see blaming every person in office because of all the changes life has in general. and this was just one topic that you are ranting about i am sure i could do them one by one but it would take to long and would take up all the space on the answers.

Well, if you can find the enumerated power for national health care in the Constitution, then go ahead with it. Of course, it doesn't exist as an enumerated power of government, so per the 10th Amendment, belongs to the states or the people.
War, on the other hand, is in the Constitution as a duty of government.
Rule of law. Try it sometime.

After seeing Sicko, national health care.
At least we (US citizens) would be getting something out of nationalized health care. Whereas the $12,000,000,000 spent per month in Iraq is of absolutely no benefit to the US taxpayer.

Another idealist here. I would much rather fund healthcare. It amazes me that anyone thinks funding death is ok.

I'll keep the war thank you. While the war is raging and the terroroists are fighting on THEIR own land, we still have the freedom to ask dumb questions and make socialistic/communistic suggestions.
