I'm on birthcontrol but last month on the 16th my boyfriend and I were having sex and the condom broke. I upped my brthcontrol that night, and at the end of the month I had my period. I've never missed taking a pill and I always take them around the same time everymorning. Could I get pregnant?

Very unlikely but not imposiible.
Get a test to be on the safe side.
Depending on how long you have been with your boyfriend and in view of the split condom you may want to think about getting tested for STD's. (Sexually Transmitted Diseases)

Really, don't ever change your own dosage. You take the pill at the same time for a reason, the dosages are measured, don't mess with your body like that.
Take the pregnancy test if you miss your period. If you are pregnant, it will be because you messed up your dosage. Sorry.

You shouldn't need to take an extra dose of your birth control pill if you've never missed taking a dose. You should be safe from pregnancy even if the condom broke.

If I were you, I would take a test. There have been plenty of people who still had their periods and WERE pregnant. One of my best friends had her period twice las year and she just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl a week ago. I can't believe no one else made mention of that. It could happen, just get a test to make sure. Good Luck

You shouldn't have to up you BC? If you take it as directed it should protect you.. However, like everyone said nothing is 100% ! Kudos however on using a back up method that's smart even if you don't know that when you have your period you ARENT pregnant.... If you are still worried take a test....

Well since you have had your period since you had unprotected sex the chances you are pregnant are slim. Also there are some women a slim few who get pregnant on bc...so I would have to say you are not pregnant but only a test can tell.

Well if your on birthcontrol, than chances are you cant be pregnant. BUT... birthcontrol aren't a 100% accurate. Most likely you wouldn't be preg though

You can get pregnant while on the pill. Yes nothing is 100% fool proof but abstinence.

Take a pregnancy test just to rule out. They are cheap enough...and it will give you peace of mind.
