Yes.

Do not have sex for two to three days prior, as it might give an inaccurate result and you might need to get it redone!

Well... no, not really. However, you shouldn't have intercourse within 24-48 hours (not positive about the time frame) before having a pap test done b/c it can interfere with the results of the test.

Yes...and No.

Usually an OB/GYN can tell during a pap smear by looking for the hymen (a thin delicate membrane of skin inside the vagina).

But! Since the hymen can easily break while simply exercising, riding a bike, horse riding, or participating in sports, this simple "look in" isn't really fool proof anymore.

Yes they can there is a piece skin that covers about 1/2 of your virgina and when you have sex well it is broken, thats whats makes you bleed. However using tampons can sometimes brake that skin too.
