Yes and No, all i know is that it's definitely a personal test to the strength of your mind-how much can you take? Can you work through it to get what you want out of the company? Do you think the people responsible for makin the workplace nasty get there just desserts?

If you answer No to any of above-move on or stand and prepare to fight (legally of course) ;)

seriously, if a person is predisposed to or already has a mental disorder then I think it's more like the companies Insanity pushing that person over the edge, not actually causing the insanity.

When you are a disposable pee-on who has more experience than the company OWNER.. YES.

When you know EXACTLY how to fix the companies problems with productivity but are not allowed to say those sorts of things.. YES

When people are being TRAINED in a way that will later get them in TROUBLE and even FIRED.. YES!!!!

When the managers and supervisors are 25 years old and have CLIQUES at WORK and give you crappy jobs to do because you are 'in'.. YES!!!

No. You can leave the company or organization and not let them frustrate you. Too many idiots out there to let this happen. Practice not letting any one offend you.

ABSOLUTELY!

BUT you have a responsibility to maintain your sanity. Sometimes you have to leave the organization, sometimes you have to stand up to the bully (go over his head and get him fired) and sometimes you have to tune everybody out and just do your job til the power structure changes. Best bet is to leave before you become entrenched.
