I am wondering if I mix some liqiud downy in a spray bottle with some water and spray it on my couch and chairs and stuff it it will be the same as febreeze? I just LOVE the smell of the new downy tahitian water falls!!

Spray cotton balls with the solution and place around the room. You can put some under the seats in your car, too.

You risks destroying your upholstery. Liquid fabric softener will leave a residue even when diluted with water. That residue will attract dirt and dust becoming stains over time. Also, if you have a warranty on your upholstery, spraying almost anything but water on the fabric, voids the warranty because most manufacturer's use a protectorate that breaks down with the use of anything but good old H20.

You could dilute it over 50/50 and test it, I don't see why it wouldn't work.. .Just don't over do the fabric softner, it would probably leave a white residue on the furniture.. Maybe test it on something just to be sure.. Good luck

It would be a little sticky, especially after using it multiple times. But it will smell great!

Yes it works...I keep a bottle up stairs and down stairs use it everyday.
