I give....Even though I know sometimes it might be a scam, obviously they need it more than I do, so instead of hearing a long drawn out story, I just give it to them.

depends on the situation and if my change is within reach like my pocket. I'd never reach into my purse for $$ to give to a stranger.
I'm a single mother barely making ends meet. So I'm torn, when a bum asks for $$. I like to help out others, whats a little change; but at the same time my head is screaming, I work my @ss off you @sshole and I'm supporting my little girl...get a f*ing job!

If they are threatening any kind of bodily harm for your money, you give it to them. You just have to be very careful out there.

NO... I live in a neighborhood where if you give one street person anything you are like marked for life and they all want a handout... Sad but true.
