keep in mind that 90% of bet freestyles are written or verses from older songs. Also, a flow matters just as much as rhymes, especially when its a free.

If I have to pick one person, it'd probably be Supernatural. I'm pretty sure he did reach the world record for freestyling for 24 hours straight (I'm not quite sure about the time). And that skit where he picks up things out of the audience and rhymes based on whatever is handed to him is pretty dope. I remember my friend wanted to go to a show and hand him and orange to see how he would rhyme that (man that was evil and funny).

Cassidy/Canibus...in my mind those two are the best (at freestyles) and i'd love to see them battle, cassidy has the best punchlines and his wordplay his sick. both these rappers have proven themselves in head-up battles...cant say the same for other rappers.

for the people who are answerin wit lil wayne, i think that's who he's talkin bout when he said "90% of bet freestyles are written or verses from older songs"...that applies to mixtapes as well.

If this is freestyle rapping like in a rap battle I'd say Eminem because in "8 Mile" he killed in the ending. But if it's not a battle, then I'd say Cassidy because of "The Problem vs The Hustla" freestyle. Thats pretty good

properly i'd say the realest rappers have been back whilst the East Coast West Coast feuds have been at it incredibly is height, it may no longer incredibly get any further genuine than weapons going off and rappers dieing as a effect. possibly Biggie, 2Pac, Ice cube, Snoop and so on. all of them had a coarse upbringing and that they've been nevertheless doing it complicated whilst they became valuable, it incredibly is genuine.

Eminem. But on the other hand, when you hear most freestyles, you hear them on mixtapes, then you hear the same verse on Rap City. I guess I would have to say Serius Jones. He freestyles for real.

I have three:

Big Pun could rip it in a freestyle.

Canibus - He started out as a battle emcee.

Skillz - Dropped a hot one on KaySlay's radio show one time. You all had best to watch out for him. He ghost writes for some of your favorite rappers.

well, they may not be mentioned here (which is why i'm going to mention them) but my favorites are Jin (the Asian dude from 106 & park) Mistah F.A.B (the guy who beat jin in a battle (actually I watched the battle and they seemed even) not to mention The Baydestrian was pretty good.. Also I'd like to mention Rhymefest, (who co-wrote Jesus Walks and also beat Em in a battle once) who's album Blue Collar was actually pretty sweet..

Juice . If you dont believe it, type in Juice Freestyles on youtube, listen for yourself. He's been rippin freestyle battles for years in the CHI.

And its not that fool who calls himself Juice who hangs with Game. It would be cool if they battle for the name though.

Mat. B. I agree with Chino XL too, but Murda Mook, no no no. Go to you tube and type in Murda Mook recycles, thats embarassing.
