If so, what for and how has it helped you? I need it for my self-steem issues and my reluctance to forgive my parents for their constant criticism and not enough love.

I have done 250 or so with my therapist

maybe 30 more with other folks

maybe 150 massage therapy sessions

it all helps, especially the massages, I'm craving one right now

oh ok, oh yeah, the talk therapy can help a lot if you get somebody good, if you are older than 20 or so, its time to stop blaming them, you have to just play the hand you got dealt

maybe try to figure out WHY they criticized you, probly their parents did the same thing, or because they felt low self esteam themselves probably

I have had therapy for the following:

-grief counseling, which really helped

-depression, which didn't help much... I just ended up on meds

-self injury ("cutting"), which helped

-detatchment, which didn't help, but only because I didn't want it to

-eating disorder, which didn't help, though it should have

-anxiety, which, like depression, didn't really help and I just ended up on meds

-severe paranoia, which helped a LOT, but it took a LONG time


And after all that I'm still not over the fear of going to a therapist and the ideas that maybe I'm just weak for needing it. So that's something you just have to get used to.

If therapy doesn't work, knowing Jesus Christ as your Savior will work. You will never truly know love until you know Jesus.
Jesus is the confidence giver. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

i did for multiple personality disorder. i only did 1 session though b/c every personality got billed separately!
