that alcohol not only damages the liver, but shrinks the brain...the effects are more devastating on women, but what I want to know is...how can they tell????

LOL They have a special meter that is so sensitive it can pick up even the smallest, teeniest smidgen of human brain. They had to invent it to find the male brain, it's an extremely rare constituent of the male physiology

They take women and put them in two groups. One is treated well and the other is forced to binge drink all the time. Then they suck the brains out of both groups and measure the average brain cells per skull.
If you ask a stupid question you get a stupid answer. There are ways of measuring how many brain cells that are lost due to binge drinking for both sexes and the effect on women is more marked. probably because they are smaller.

Oh dear that has really put me off of alcohol for the rest of my life. Best go and have a drink to calm my nerves as i may have already shrunk my brain beyond repair!!

How can they tell if the brain has been "shrunk"? the effects are just as devastating for males or females........................causing loss of memory,self worth, self preservation and lots more!Believe me, i have (in my job as as a psychiatric nurse) seen the devastating results of alcohol abuse and it isnt in the least bit funny.It really makes you re think your lifestyle and what could happen in the future.

women don't metabolize alcohol as well as men so it's effects are more harmful
