Every day I see notification coming up telling me that latest msn updates are ready to be installed into my p/c. I had my p/c set up by mistake to have all these updates installed automatically, and almost EVERY day these updates were installed-without my knowledge-into my p/c, and I was being interrupted to have to restart ny p/c,-no matter what I was doing. Until finaly I figured out how to "delete' these auto-updates, and have them-msn- first get my approval to install these updates, and stop them walking boldly in & out of my p/c at will like some ADMIRAL. So the question is 'Does an average home used p/c need all those updates, or not?'...I noticed that after each auto-update, my p/c was working slower and more "torturous"...

Matter of opinion... Some folks feel that, with auto-update (and perhaps also, Microsoft Firewall), Microsoft purdy much takes over ownership of your computer...with a somewhat arrogant attitude, one might even say... You may find the ones who share this opinion are predominantly geeks (i.e., "power users" and I DO NOT mean this in any insulting way whatsoever) who even pick and choose as to which updates they apply.

I used to do it that way myself.

On my new HP, I've gone the other route. Now I let the computer download and install every little cotton' pickin' update, and I haven't noticed any slowdown ... yet! Somehow (why, I don't know...) I've come to believe this might mean a more secure and smoother-running system.

But it HAS TO BE up to you!

Hmmm.... The MSN reveal call is something very own or inner maximum. it can be a contravention of the MSN privateness settlement for it to be as much as date on the lower back end with out the person's wisdom. The person has to do it himself. If at one ingredient, the person already as much as date it and, nevertheless, this occurs, it is greater of a synchronization subject. The suggested subject could have been led to by using latency or delay between the lower back end, MSN, and the community device. of direction, the attitude of time ought to be factored in. You reported "years in the past". How approximately momentary information superhighway information? besides, it is in basic terms my handle issues. i'm hoping it facilitates although.
