I'm always hearing about the work at home jobs...stuffing envelopes, getting paid for surveys but I don't think I can trust anything like that. Is there anyone that actually does or have done that? Or does anyone know some ways to get some extra cash? SERIOUS answers only...PLEASE, I could make up my own sarcastic remarks if I wanted those...thanks!! :)

I was in your shoes once before you can even search Yahoo! Answers and you'll find questions that I posted asking your same question.

If I were you I would start with http://www.lightspeedpanel.com as a survey site. They are good and reliable they pay to your paypal account by completing surveys.

If you like that site then email gpcdon@yahoo.com and I will be happy to refer you to two more sites. Also you can check out http://www.geocities.com/gpcdon that is my website of all the paid email sites that I do. If you only do one I strongly urge you to try Adbux.

After asking your question I joined some sites and since December 16th when I joined most of them I've earned over 600 bucks or about $100 a month.

I hope this helps you and I hope you get interested in joining a few of these programs.

I suggest getting the magazine Success From Home - the June addition was excellent - and had great stories, real people, products - ideas - that work!

Honestly there is nothing to do for free from home and if there is you will be doing more then what you deserve in return.

Best options are -
Sales (yes network marketing) things have changed and there are honest, good products out there research- unlike the answer above mine that isn't true -

Child Care
Auctions
Tutoring - or if you make something sell that with a web site.

Good Luck

you can do legitimate envelope stuffing when it's for your local businesses and not something you found on the internet.

We use craigslist and post ads for services offered depending on your talents. sometimes I've mad some extra money cleaning that way.

you can join companies that give out samples at stores. try mass connections.

you can help out your neighbors with gardening or house sitting for extra cash.

The home jobs you describe are scams. You'll probably get several answers here touting MLM schemes - if you sign up, you'll make a couple dollars for the person who sucked you into it.
