Let me refresh your memory a bit -
It was the great emperor Akbar who integrated a country calling it Hindustan from smaller states into his vast empire in the 15th century.
It was Bahadur Shah Zafar the last Moghul Emperor who lost to the British.
It was the Nizam of Hyderabad who was the last ruling royal scion before the formation of states in independent India.

Yes, there have been despotic rulers like Babar, Aurangzeb, etc. But, this doesn't mar the fact that all religions have contributed to the growth of India as a diversified nation.

Post independence, it has been only vote-bank politics right from the Nehru-Bhutto era till the present scenario. Be it the partition or recent godhra riots; people from both the religions have suffered a lot. And, as far as Pakistan is considered, the animosity will cease only when the Kashmir / LOC issue is resolved once & for all (I believe that it's possible only through War - Because War is always decisive & peacetimes are very deceptive - deathcount of soldiers during peacetime is several times more than that of Wartime).

So, it's my humble request to you that - Please do not mix religion with politics - it'll be a dangerous concoction.

you refer to a miniscule of hindu who thinks your way. it was muslim rule in india when the british took our country to slave . it was hindu maharajas primarily responsible for a easy take over by the british. it is the hindu majarajas again who served the royal british rulers obediently. it is the same hindu which delays transfer of rule in 1947. technically it was still the mughal emperor who waslost the kingdom and got back their kingdom. religious fundamentalism is synonemous to rise of the political outfit called BJP dominated by the hindus ( read punjabis ) from erstwhile pakistan. it is they who wish to cash by dividing the society into religious segments. it was the old british policy. rise and fall of 7 wonders in the forms of Pilot Baba, vedanti maharaj etc etc is related to further divide of the society in the name of religions.Hindus are a negligible percentage in the world who confuse of their real lineage. it is time we think of merging hindu with boudha religion to become the largest segment besides christians and islams.

even the peaceful Hindus have their own extremists and don't try to deny this FACT. they too burn Muslim villagers alive in india.

i'm honestly tired of all this BS. if we only have the courage to look in the mirror and fix our own mistakes before pointing fingers the world will be so much better.
