Are capricorn risings usually very skinny, almost anorexic looking????

I'm pretty sure my brother is capricorn rising because he is super skinny (it looks like he just came out of a concentration camp) and shy. Since my mom and I are virgo risings and my sister scorpio rising, I have narrowed it down to capricorn since we all have feminine ascendants. I can't find his birth certificate so yea....

Also, my bfs friend has the same body type and since my man is taurus rising, I'm going to assume he has an earthy rising so I'm going with capricorn!

Tell me what you know about these capricorn risings k......

Also, these two guys have a serious look about them, even though my brother is a gemini and my bfs friend an Aries. So I know they truly aren't serious, but they have that look going on!

well then i'm thinking they are either in the decans of capricorn or virgo. Definately not taurus. And I know they are for sure feminine ascendants because they aren't too outgoing

oh and my brother is 5'10" and weighs 127, so you could imagine him. He eats fine, he's just one of those skinny people

Just out of curiousity, is he adopted or a step something? Or has some health/handicap issue? And I would be curious as to your relationship with your father.
I'm seeing a bazillion interesting things here. But for starters, you say your boyfriend has Taurus rising. Okay, which first off says he romantically tends to attract those with a Virgo influence. You have Virgo rising. He would have Scorpio on the the 7th. So do you have either Scorpio sun or Aries, because mars is co-ruler, or sun in the 8th? And depending what is in your 9th or his ninth will tell you whether you will marry this guy or not.
You have Scorpio on the third, if there are no interceptions, so you would have a sister very much like a Scorpio, with a scar on her head or face, reddish tint to her hair, and you would either have venus or moon in the 8th in order to have a Scorpionic sister.. Your sister, having Scorpio rising, without having interceptions, would have Capricorn on the 3rd, which means I have a brother who is very much like a Capricorn. (Because third house describes one of my siblings) 5th house describes another sibling, and so on around the wheel. So where is her saturn and mercury; what house and sign will describe this brother. See, your charts all have to agree in order for you to be a family, spouse, whatever. If you brother is indeed Capricorn rising, childhood is usually associated with some sadness and lack and difficulty or physical problem or a missing -whether it's a parent or grandparent; whatever. I'm, kinda wondering if he isn't influenced by Uranus/Aquarius. A sure bet if you have Cap rising is trouble with bones, (especially knee problems)teeth, complexion. May give a darker complexion with sometimes blonde hair. Aquarius or Jupiter influences would give height. If a Cap rising is super skinny it's usually due to nervousness, the mind never shuts down kind of thing. I would be more inclined to think he has a 12th house sun and Cancer rising, especially if you are older than he is. Have you ever had a sibling involved in an accident?

Well I've got a Capricorn ascendant.

I'm DEFINATELY not skinny or anorexic looking. I've got a really thick bone structure and am naturallyvery muscular. I'm really physically strong and have a LOT of endurance, I have to be careful about my strength because I somtimes end up hurting people when that wasn't the intention. My Capricorn rising is 19 degress, in the Decan Taurus which is ruled by Venus, so I guess gives me curves, also Venus is in my first house if that has anything to do with it.

But yeah I think it could go either way. I know a few Capricorn Risings who are VERRRYYY thin and lanky. Like some one mentioned earlier, Capricorns tend to get sick easily, especially early in life, so that could have to do with the "anorexic" looking tidbit.

Not always b/c they are decans in every rising group. For example the decan i am in is ruled by venus which give an voluptious size to the body. I am capricorn rising 13 degrees. check out elbertwades website for more info on rising signs and physical descriptions.
Sag rising can also be skinny. A good friend has this he has a horsey look to him very thin even though he is a Taurus sun which is usually overweight.

Yes, it does look anorexic! Many Barbie dolls do, and even the Barbies that don't look anorexic have unrealistic body proportions (legs too long, waist too small, chest way too big). There's been a few research studies indicating that girls who play with Barbies grow up with lower self-esteem and more body-related dysphorias (mood problems), than girls who don't! Probably because they get the mistaken notion that they will grow up to look like a Barbie, and then when they grow up to have a more natural shape they don't like their own shape! :( My wife didn't play with Barbies as a kid. Her parents got her a different fashion doll (same size as a Barbie.) But the doll had the real proportions of an adult woman. She is a very well-adjusted woman who likes her own curves, as a result. When I have a daughter I won't buy her Barbies. I'll look for fashion dolls that have a more natural shape. Such dolls do exist.

It could be capricorn... many of them are skinny like jesus at times, and they stand before us like an unfinished dinner.

What i have read about capricorns is, they have a weak defensive system, and they fall sick easily. So yes he could just be munched by a nasty bacteria. :D

A more probable situation is: somewhat your brother shares signs with you and your parents. For instance a scorpio bias could make his bone structure go thinner. I have one scorpio friend with libra rising, virgo and aries on the chart, and he should be large like a libra but he's fine like a wire.

And that's for scorpio men only, because any girl can be just as light as your brother and it won't show behind her female attributes, say like a higher fat ratio, prominent breasts and lower bone weight! Hm females. ;)

I like the heredity idea. Apparently I share many signs with my fellow family members. My brothers are on one side: leo, libra, aquarius etc., and on the other, scorpio, libra, sag etc. Me: three planets in sag, three in libra, one in aquarius, one in scorpio. And I'm rising leo. My father is libra with leo sag and capricorn in his signs. But my mother don't have as many of my signs.

I've got a Capricorn rising, and while I'm not fat, I'm certainly not skinny either. I've been called curvy and volumptuous. Trust me, this is just a rumor!
