Typically, you can, but they will typically charge you the same amount of money. (ie no discount for using your own stuff). They typically will also make you sign a waiver because they are using your stuff, they won't guarantee that something you brought them to install will be guaranteed by them.

NO, most don't there price is figured in with there oil and filter. that is who they make there money if they deducted the cost of the oil they may make about 4 to change the oil . If they start doing it then they have to let everybody do it . with in 3 months there out of business. If you want to use you on oil .. just change the oil your self . and save all the trouble. takes about 15 minutes to change the oil in most cars. 10 if you know your car and have the tools and everything needed to do the job right . however just call them they may say, yes .. but it will still cost say $12 to 15 plus you furnish the oil .

Move away from your computer. Pick up the phone. Call your local Jiffy Lube and ask them! How hard is that?

Wal-Mart will, they have a standard posted charge. Usually people select oil off the shelves that is not part of any of the Wal-Mart packages, but you could take any oil in as long as you have proof it is paid for. Of course you have no warranties or road side assistance.

I've done that before, they charged me $20 for the "bay charge" and put in my oil and filter.

They won't do it with your own oil and filter. Then they can't warranty the oil change by the companies rules and standards.

No. They're in business to sell that stuff. They usually use brand-name filters and oil (Pennzoil in my area) so I wouldn't worry.

Yes, but stand there and make sure that they use it and not their brand. I have seen that happen at another quick lube shop.

Probably not, because it would cancel the guarantee. Maybe security reasons, too.
