I'm not sure about those states, but University of Michigan has a good program and that's not too far away.......

There's not too much marine life in minnesota or wisconsin. You'd need someplace with a marine (saltwater) area, such as Coastal Carolina, New Jersey, Florida, or various others.

Well I was going to suggest Coastal Carolina. I would encourage you not to let location limit your search for the right college. But I understand sometimes you have to.

You'd probably be better off in an area with marine life, but I realize sometimes you don't have a choice. Sorry I don't have any suggestions for those states but this is off the coast of TX http://www.tamucc.edu/ part of A&M University.
