how do i connect my wifi usb connector to my computer?

i downloaded the cd and snd it won't work

Be sure you downloaded and INSTALLED the correct driver for the USB adapter and NOT the driver of the motherboard chipset.

Usually you need to install the driver first then shutdown the PC. Connect the wifi adapter to the USB port then start PC. Windows should recognize the device and automatically activate it or guide you on the process of activating the wifi adapter.

more info plz, what OS what type of file is the "disk" is it a .exe a .iso???
