run any day. 2 miles swiming is a very long distance. Yes they are two miles, but when you compare effort and what not two miles swimming is a lot more. It will take you a shorter amount of time to run than to swim. Also, it is easier to run. The conditions of the water where not discussed. Are we talking an olympic type pool or are we talking lakes and oceans. If the water is deep and you are not in shape you could risk drowning in water if you don't control yourself. Get over tire and you are dead. Also, water temperature currents and what not play a big part. Running even if uphill is easier. You get tire you can always, walk or rest then continue.

For me it will be easier to run 2 miles but swimming is more fun that running so I guess I would swim 2 miles.

i would rather swim 2 miles. I would swim instead because it works all of you muscles and legs in swimming not just your legs in running. also if you swim you dont sweat and you can have fun and can cool down when you are swimming.

I would rather run two miles. You won't drown if you get a cramp and fall. Plus I run WWWAAAYYY faster than I swim so I'd probably swim for an hour or two lol.
