The only thing U can do at the point is to be honest. Tell her the rabbit died while she was gone and why (if U know. If not thats ok) Be prepared, she may ask you to get her a new rabbit.

These things happen, but I'm afraid the only thing you can do is confess.
I hope you're not thinking of trying to replace the rabbit and hope she doesn't notice, and I hope no one on here suggests that, it's a horrible thing to do.

EDIT: I can't believe Angelbaby got two thumbs up for suggesting you pretend the rabbit ran away! That's sick!!

Express your innermost sorrow and offer her (once she has some time to herself) if she would maybe want another rabbit. She probably will be sad at first but I'm sure another pet rabbit will soon take a special place in her heart.

I would go with the truth. You did the best you could taking care of the rabbit and it was not your fault it died. She will be upset of course but, telling the truth and being gentle about it is being a good fiend.

lol thats hilarious. sounds like a full house episode...so what you need to do is go get a similarly colored rabbit and paint the rabbit to look like the first rabbit... lol priceless

you could do 2 things:
1. tell her what happened, and tell her that she doesn't need to pay you (duh)
2. bury the rabbit, buy a new one at the pet store, and hope that she doesn't notice

You hand over the dead body, while sobbing and apologizing for not taking good care of her rabbit.

omg are yu serious? and you didnt tell her yet? do you kno why it died? if not try to find out. i wouldnt suggest trying to replace it with an identical bunny because she will be able to tell the difference so tell her the truth and say you are very sorry and that you will try to make it up to her. if it died from a natural cause tell her. if not tell her what you think happened

Tell her the truth and she will know that it was not your fault because you too are friends. She will forgive you
