for anything you must LOVE what you do.New wrestler do it because of the fame or money or women or because they think its easy.Thats why most of them dont make it.thier on raw one week then we never hear from them again. If you dont love this business then you'll never make it.Look at guys like JBL,Chris benoit, Eddie guerrero, matt hardy, flair, triple h, and booker t.They truly love this business and it really paid off for them.

well first off a wrestler to be successful must build up the crowd and of course the only way to build up the crowd is if you have good mic skills. next thing the wrestler has to be in top shape to compete against the best this will also get the fans behind him. next the wrestler must NOT take steroids haha. jk no actually what i was going to say is they also need to have good in ring ability like all kinds of different moves not just one move the whole match.

Some people say it's charisma.
Some people say it's acrobatics.
Some people say it's wrestling talent.
But for me, I personally believe it's love for the business.
The pro wrestlers out there, they have to work every week, no breaks. And if you're stuck doing what you're doing 24/7, you better love what you do.
It's the dedicated ones like Mick Foley, Triple H, and Ric Flair who succeed. The ones who give it their all just to entertain people like us, they are the ones who will always be remembered.
They are the ones that make the Hall of fame. Look at JR, he never wrestled, but he always had love for the business.
*I mean, you can have good mic skills and do triple backflips, sure. But to finish the match after falling 20 feet, or having your quadriceps torn off your leg, that takes someone special.

The most important attribute for a pro wrestler.......
Charisma. Without charisma, everything else is wasted. If you lack charisma, your interviews fall flat. If you lack charisma, your brilliant technical ability gets Boring chants. Without charisma, even a perfectly sculpted body goes to waste.
Charisma can make any wrestler seem that much better. Hogan, Flair, Savage, HBK, Triple H, Piper, The Rock, Steve Austin Honky Tonk Man, Dusty, Funk, Foley, Warrior, Sting, Jericho and Angle all have one thing in common. Charisma. Sure, most of them were also great on the stick. Most of them were also great in the ring. But without that natural charisma they wouldn't have made it as far as they did.

Personally, I feel it's an amateur wrestling background that includes success at the collegiate level. They have the ability to sell real moves used in the amateur sport and then can build upon the showmanship within the entertainment element. You can't make up for the years in another sport and crossing over into pro wrestling.....give me a great amateur wrestler every time to give a push.

A gimmick gets you over, wrestling means keeps you there. in case you are able to no longer walk the walk a gimmick is incomprehensible, you opt to be waiting to try against at a good and relaxing point to make it to the suitable yet its the gimmick that makes the fan connection for you. Its uncommon for a wrestler to recover from on means on my own, even Benoit had Toothless Aggression, yet on the top of the day you do no longer proceed to exist suitable devoid of being stable adequate interior the hoop.

To be a top-notch main eventer, a wrestler must fit the McMahon stereotype; big, white, ripped. He may throw a bone to Booker T or Rey here and there but the main eventers consistently fall into this mold.

Charisma. Look at Hogan, lousy athlete. Goldberg, only 1 real move. Cena, not all that coordinated. It's all about charisma. They have to inspire a feeling in people to like them or hate them. Take Kane, he's boring. He was better with a mask and when he never talked.

mic skills because if you dont talk on the mic, you will not get any fans (whether it be fans that love them or fans that love to HATE them.) and if you dont have fans you want be made into a main-event status wrestler.
