It is probably drawing too much current for the size of breaker. What number does the breaker have on it? If it is a 15 AMP that is your problem.
You need a minimum of a 20 AMP breaker with nothing else on the circuit.
If you have a long length of extension cord that will also add to the problem. Make sure your extension cord is a minimum of 12 Gage. A 10 Gage is even better.

I observed some solutions suggesting which you will replace your breaker. permit me be completely clean - do not replace the breaker with a greater circuit breaker. A circuit breaker journeys because of the fact too plenty electrical energy is being 'asked' and, as a secure practices degree, the breaker journeys. The circuit breaker many times tripping and you pointing out that it is warm is a hallmark of a extreme situation. My suggestion: call a AC repairman and have the unit professionally serviced / replaced. (in case you in trouble-free terms permit the breaker stay tripped / off, i don't think of you may desire to call an electrician - yet)

Check the current draw on the AC. If it exceeds the rating on the breaker, then there is a problem with the wiring or the AC unit. If the unit is pulling less than the rated amount of current, then you most likely have a breaker going bad. good luck.

is the breaker in the trailer if so sounds like it could be a weak breaker if its the breaker where the trailer is plugged into you will need a dedicated circuit just for the trailer only

what size breaker do you have and what is that A/C rated for?, it should state minimum circuit ampacity, the breaker could be undersized or weak, or you are drawing abnormally high amps from a fan motor(failing) or worse the compressor.

the motor might need oil or a critter might have a nest up there did you look? also the overload may be weak up there on the compressor
have you let it sit up? it might need to be smacked a couple of times with a heavy rubber mallet to jar the motor loose.

have you had the A/C all this time? If so, I'd check all wiring connections. One may not be making perfect connection causing your problem.
