Any imported items are required to have their country of origin on the label somewhere. Walmart would be better about complying with U.S. Customs regulations than most other companies.
Now, if these products are made in the U.S. from imported products, they are still supposed to show that on the label, but enforcement is a lot more difficult.

Like most generic store brands (and even name brands) most of Wal-Marts generic foods come from ConAgra. As for meats it depends on local suppliers. For that answer you need to contact the meat dept manager from the store. Most likely its the same suppier that supplies to all the local grocery shops.

I doubt it's coming from China. I know it's never wise to ask a Wal Mart employee anything. The only thing they are good at is making up stories.

I would ask the store manager.
Or you can fill out an online request here:

Or you can call here:
Phone
To reach the Contact Center of Wal-Mart Stores, call 1-800-WALMART (1-800-925-6278), from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. (CT) Monday - Friday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (CT) Saturday or from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (CT) Sunday.
