32:1 oil ratio (using a ratio rite cup). That's what is recommended by Yamaha and that is what I run in my 93 yz80. Any higher or lower and you'll risk blowing up your top end and have to spend major bucks repairing it.

the owners manual probably calls for either 32:1 or 40:1 ratio (do you have an owners manual???).

at 32:1 ratio, 4 ounces of 2 stroke oil to mix with 1 gallon of gas (128 ounces to the gallon, so 128/32=4).

at 40:1 ratio, 3.2 ounces of 2 stroke oil to mix with 1 gallon of gas (128 ounces to the gallon, so 128/40=3.2).

easiest thing to do is go to your local bike shop and buy a "ratio rite" which is a little plastic measuring cup looking thing that has the different mixing ratios on the side with how much oil you put in various quantities of gas... only about $5.00 and can be used for years to come...
