failed America in numerous ways? Libs are stopping us from winning in Iraq. Kennedy and the libs want to give the illegals amnesty. Libs won't allow the President to secure our borders and on and on. Funny part about all that rhetoric. Six years after nine-eleven and with complete control of government by republicans, nothing was done about any of these issues. Iraq is still a mess, the borders are not secured and the President tried to push the illegal amnesty through the Senate. Isn't it time to take some accountability instead of constantly trying to blame the libs for their own failures?

Deep thought. I already know that both of my Senators in Florida voted, Yea. Neither will ever get a vote from me. I do my homework.

I also wrote them both and warned them where I stood before the vote.

Yes, it has become rote for them. They will never take responsibility for the failures of the last 6+ years. That's why half their answers about anything to do with George Bush refer immediately to Bill Clinton and the "do nothing" Democratic Congress. Because now, right along with failing to do all the things you mentioned, they are also in complete denial about being obstructionists when the Dems try to get anything done in Congress. Right now they aren't doing anything but (to borrow a phrase from the Simpsons) wallowing in their crapulence.

There is enough blame to go around on all those topics. Just because you want to absolve your party for any of the crud that has happened in the past 7 years doesn't mean you can. Are the borders a mess? Yes. Are there congressmen on BOTH sides of the aisle who are getting kickbacks from companies that rely on the cheap labor from south of the border? You better believe there are. Bush tried to push that amnesty bill through congress. But didn't Ted Kennedy co sponsor the legislation. How many people on both sides of the aisle voted for the invasion of Iraq.
You may want to say "Well we didn't know" but that just means then that you didn't do the homework necessary to make the decision which to me is more dangerous

regrettably the President is often the "lightning rod" on an identical time as the thunder and harm rather much continuously comes from the legislature. So this is been with George Bush. i've got faith Al Gore could have been institutionalized by ability of the activities of Sept. 11. on account that then 0 terrorist assaults - inspite of the incontrovertible fact that Heavy handed national protection became placed into place - possibly it became mandatory. every physique who thinks the President on my own could desire to reason the present economic crumple does not get previous the 1st internet site of Economics a hundred and one. i'm no longer too particular savvy is the word for Obama the two - he purely appointed a former board member from Freddie Mac as his chief of paintings stress! With greater again. Are the individuals who took sub-top mortgages they could no longer probable have the money for (as approved & insisted upon by ability of the LEGISLATURE) somewhat accountable right here besides? The "blame activity" of politics is approximately as efficient as dancing with your shadow.

Not only are they blaming the libs, they're starting to call the Conservative Republicans who jumped off the White House bandwagon Liberals too.
But hey, we all know that the Wildfires in Utah and the Floods in Texas are all Bill Clinton's fault, right?

That's why you heard "Ronald Reagan" about 80 times and "George Bush" twice during the first GOP debate. Even hardcore republicans know what an albatross the pres is.

Agree on all counts. Which makes me wonder why more isn't being done to fix it. I thought that was the point of us voting for the Democratic Congress. Could it be that our beloved government sucks all the way around?

You are so right! They always put the blame on the Liberals! And people believe it even when the excuse makes no sense at all!

Accountability is kind of a big word for Republicans. They tend to shy away from big words and reason.

The party of personal responsibility only believes in responsibility for everybody else. It does not apply to them.
