Have you added any new hardware? If not check what's in the PCI slots and
remove them one by one. After the error goes away you have found out the
faulty device.

f1 to resume. Then in windows

Check by going control panel>System>device manager

or

programs>accessories>systems tools>system information>Hw device
conflicts

or how about this

Here's a simple question - have you tried defaulting the BIOS? - If you haven't messed with the BIOS on the machine - you might surf to the support website of the hardware manufacturer and look for a BIOS update for your specific machine model. On rare occasions, updates and security patches can cause conflicts in the system and the way to resolve some of these is to upgrade the BIOS which controls parts of the PCI bus on the machine. The HP support site is pretty friendly - you'll want to download their flash program and BIOS to a bootable floppy in most cases.

Oh - there's another idea - re-install the PCI bus driver software of the machine by itself. Sometimes that will clear a conflict among the PCI cards on the machine.

Otherwise - you've tried everything I would have tried to resolve the conflict.

Looks like a copy of your system bios, the last part after error would be the problem, i would press the "del" button and see if anything looks wrong, then check the pci slot its says is in conflict.

It means that the device in PCI slot 3 is not working properly. Uninstall and reinstall the device if possible. If not, contact the manufacturer for more help.
The device is likely a sound card, video card, or dial-up modem.

Take out whatever is in your third PCI slot, then re-boot. If it is broken, repair it or buy a new one.
