Mr. Cooper. My son (now 32) watched Sesame Street, and I LOVED Mr. Cooper, who ran the 'store' where 'everyone' (including the Muppets) shopped for food and other things. When he died, they actually had a wonderful 'memorial show' because so many kids were 'experiencing' the death of a 'loved one' for the first time. He's still my FAVORITE character from Sesame Street.
After Mr. Cooper, I'd have to say Mr. Snuffleupagus ... in case you wanted to know my favorite Sesame Street Muppet character.
