Im 13, ive started my period but i had my last one in march. now its july and i haven't had it. 4 months and pregnancy isn't even a possibility. im begining to think i have premature menopause because i did some research and that seems to be the only thing that really makes sense. so is it premature menopause or something else?

Don't worry. When you are first starting it is very common for it to be VERY irregular. If you are active in sports or have stress it can also cause them to be irregular.

Talk to your Mom and have her call her doctor and make an appointment if you are really nervous about it. They say it's good to start visiting your doctor as soon as you start your period in case there are any problems.

Usually when you first start or are in your first year you might skip a few periods. But i highly doubt that you have premature menopause. Just ask your mom or ask another adult. So dont worry!!

It can take up to 2 years for a cycle to regulate. Don't worry.

You should see your doctor, it could just be an irregular period!
