you should know by now that next to nothing offends me, if it's a question that's trying to offend someone i just play with 'im for a bit. i never did understand why some of the folks around here take things so seriously, a lot of people can and will ask questions that are geared to offending one group or another why allow them to win by letting them succeed

I would rather ask this if I were you "if you're so easily offended and over sensitive with questions and answers posted by others, what are you doing here?"
And an additional comment to those who are so easily offended and too sensitive (to the core, shall we call it?) Go find your own 'safe haven' to play with your own kind... Maybe they'll be happier with everyone who can just please them and talk in 'open' ways where everyone can be 'happy' amongst themselves...
Yeah ignoring them is good to a certain point, but stalkers and some racist sobs take it as a 'fun' thing to do when they see you ignoring them, they'll be back for more to gain attention. Its reverse psychology we're talking about here. So there should be a need for balance in both ways here... You need to have self defense skills too... Its kinda like art of war :-)

I have several ways handling your Q's situation. I despise "gang up" ATTACK! Should I smells something like that I normally would speak up to those cowards by replying. AND of course I would blocked them and I think they should feel honoured cos I dont go to that extend. Their reply and stalking really gave me an heart attack. And I dont want to report them cos they would comeback and worst if they started to use another ID which you may not know!
Otherwise I would ignore the Q.

um i respond with really long answers explaining why theyre idiots probably like 80 percent of the time...but thats only because i respond to most things in my everyday life...
so no. im shocked at how stupid people can be. but despite what typed words may lead people to believe..i dont really think im ever "offended" by too many people online or in real life . i usually think its hilarious and call my best friends and tell them about it. makes for a good "later laugh".

This site is very cool . Its a great community of people who just want answers to the questions that the mind ponders. There is no reason for people to be completely idiotic and childish about this. But of course there always will be thorns on roses.

I get angry, not offended...sometimes I wish I could put my hands though the computer and strangle a couple people that has a sick fetish with talking about hurting children

ignore the questions and move on. although when answering some questions have a hard time holding my temper when another answerer doesn't have the correct information -- especially when the answer is insulting.
