same thing happened to me. i had to be 15!! and i have very very thick bushy eyebrows. i had to wait A WHOLE year because what ever reason or excuse i told my mom she didnt care, i was still not aloud to. it sucks but i was underage...
If she doesnt think you are not ready then you might not be. Your mom knows best and she makes the rules for a good reason. Maybe she doesnt want you to look older, and maybe she doesnt want you to look like your friends. what ever the case like i said she knows best

I have a daughter that will be 15 soon. I finally gave her permission to get her eyebrows done when she was 14 & a half. Only because she would do it herself anyway and look ridicules afterwards. I'm not advising you to take that route however. After you get your eyebrows done you have to keep up with them for they tend to keep growing, and sometimes depending on your schedule and school activities it becomes inconveint.
Just sit her down and have a heart to heart with her. Ask her why she wont let you. Maybe she has good reason. My daughter that will be 15 soon is my oldest. When you are the oldest, sometimes moms take a while trying to figure out the "right" thing to do because of the lack of experience.(That was my reason anyway)

If you look at any high fashion magazine right now, it will show you right there how stylish it is to have prominent brows! When Brooke Shields was your age, her thick brows had a huge impact on her modeling career! Embrace your brows. Plucking them too thin will only make you look less natural. I was a make up artist for many years and i understand the importance of a good brow! All you really need to do is maintain a shape that is consistent with your natural brow shape. The brow is the frame for your face and altering them too much may change the look of your face. Try just tweezing the few hairs that are outside the lines of the brow. Just do it if you feel like doing it!!! As long as you maintain the natural look of your face, there is nothing your mother can really do to stop you! You are plenty old enough to start making your own decisions - as long as you prove to your mom that you are mature enough to make the right ones. In all, do it but don't over do anything! It will only make things worse for your brows and your relationship with your mom!

You should respect your Mom.
Meanwhile, you can comb your eyebrows into shape and lightly jell them so they won't move around.
My mother wouldn't let me do anything to mine and I had a unibrow.
I was nineteen when I first had mine waxed.
Don't try to rebel. You won't stay fourteen forever. Actually, guys liked my eyebrows. Now that I'm older, I don't wax them excessively, just a little underneath.
I would have to see your eyebrows but if you look at some of the models and fashion icons, some of them have thick eyebrows today.
Plus, if you wax too thin, they will be a nightmare in the sense that you will have to wax more often or they will look sloppy.

My mum was the same and i guess she thinks you are too young because you have to keep doing them after you start and at your age you have alot more to worry about at school than that.
If it really is bad then maybe tell her you feel uncomfortable with your eyebrows like that and see if she will let you do it. Dont whine, just speak to her properly.
And if she still says no then just leave it and wait as she wants you to. You will have more than enough time in your life to worry about your eyebrows and everything else.

I worked in a salon for 4 yrs and I have a daughter that is 12 and i have done hers for about 6mts now. Just set her down and talk to her like an adult, dont whine and cry about it, you want to show her that you are mature enough to have this doen so you have to take the mature apporch to the subject. Ask her to pluck them for you just a little under neath the bottom of the brow (never on top), just to thin them and shape them or ask her to go with you to the salon to have them done. Dont go behind her back include her and understand from a mothers stand piont this is just another reminder to her that you are growing up and she is lossong her baby, so be nice to her. Hope this helps.

its hard on a mom when her child is growing up and wanting to do all this stuff.
all you can do is ask her why she thinks your not ready yet. you could explain to her that you do not want to do anything drastic just a nice shape would be good. ask her to go with you and get it done professionally. also if you have the $$ tell her you will pay for it with your own money.
FYI, if you have ti done at a salon, they should make her sign a consent form. you are under age and they could get in a lot of trouble.

ask your mom if she will take you to get your eyebrows waxed by a professional. this way your mom will feel better because she knows that not to much of the eyebrows are being plucked and you will have great looking eyebrows. it only costs about $8 and it lasts a couple months.

she doesn't want you to grow up too fast. She will probabaly say ok at 16. Doing one's eyebrows is better than a lot of other things. But, is it really that noticible if you don't do them, at your age? If yes, just do a mild adjustment and clean up of them. Otherwise, vamping them out is a little much.

You can't get her to say yes simply because you want to. She has a reason for you not doing them yet, even though you don't know what it is. These girls that have been doing them for two years are only interested in the outside appearance of themselves. Work on your inside appearance first, and trust me, the rest is all just extra.
