Is it just because it is dark? Or because they are nocturnal?

because scary things do not come out in the day as they are not fond of the light and heat. moreover if people can get scared by seeing them at night (you can't see clearly at night) what will happen if they see them in broad daylight?

the Scaries are better if they happened at night and being nocturnal is part and parcel of the habitat.

Hmm... maybe cuz all you see in movies are scary things coming from the dark and not the day.

i thnk becuase its dark adn in scary movies they usually show the scary stuff at night

because they can hide in the darkness and the shadows and jump out when we least expect it

because its dark and you dont know whats going on around you, and u cant see very well.
