I disagree 100%. They're both equally important. Just because you like somebody's personality, that is not enough to be attracted to them. I think being physically attracted to a mate is extremelly important. I'm not saying it's the only factor, but it's definitely very important.
Do you agree with me or do you still think that personality counts more?

I'm yet to seek out a relationship with a person I don't find physically attractive. Not to say that a person with personality hasn't grown into an attraction.
By the way, I look like Johnny Depp.......Yeah right. :)

I agree with you to an extent. Physical attraction is great, but sometimes a great personality can more than make up for less than attractive looks. I am almost never attracted to anyone more than a couple pounds overweight, but I wouldn't write anyone off just because they were fat, because a complementary personality could easily override fifteen extra pounds.
If quantified, personality counts for far more than 50% of attraction, in regards to a long term relationship.

There's been a few times that I have developed an interest physically in someone that wasn't "attractive" by the normal standards..
After you spend time talking with someone and getting to know their mind, the rest falls into place. I think that is something that comes with maturity.

I think that looks are important, but what makes an attractive person to you could be the complete opposite of what's attractive to me. It all depends on the person.

I think personality counts more for women than it does for men because men are more visual creatures, but it does count for both. Once the looks are gone, you'll still have to put up with them, and if the personality sucks, you're not gonna be happy.

Personality is a huge thing...you can be smokin' hot, but if you have the personality of a doorknob...it won't work...and the date won't last very long either...
When it comes to just friends...personality is everything, looks do not matter...
