Where I live the sky is very infrequently blue ... sometimes it's white, sometimes it's gray, and sometimes it's 'spotted' with grey and white on blue ... and sometimes it's a 'bright, light' blue and others it's a darker blue ... sometimes it's a 'dark purple' and others it's really dark 'navy' blue. It's also 'red, yellow, and orange' at certain times of the day, and once I actually saw it 'rain pink' (it really did, because of the way the sun was shining on the water drops that were falling) ...

It looks like it at times but when you get those orange, pink and red colors in the sky it is due to all of the polution in the air. The more polution there is, the prettier the sunset or sunrise is.

It's often red... this morning it was black, then it faded to gray, and when I had that Starbucks coffee it turned a little pinkish, before finally turning blue again.
