Can you please help me figure out if these pearls are real or not?
- they are smooth
- they are painted peach, fushia, and purple
- they are made by MISAKI (thats what it says on the box)
- the person who gave them to me said they were real
- they come with matching pearl earrings
- they are kinda heavy
- each pearl is the 3/4 the size of a blueberry
- there are 37 pearls on the necklace and 1 on each earring

Unless your friend put them in a box to fool you, Misaki pearls are real and also a nice gift to receive! I tried to find your exact necklace for comparison and from what you described I think you have Misaki's "VIOLA" classic pearl necklace. This necklace has burgundy, peach and black pearls. Check it out at Misaki.com.
Hope this helped!

Put them in your mouth. If they feel slightly gritty on your teeth then they're real. Also, realy pearls will all be slightly different shapes and sizes. If the whole string looks identical then they're probably not. xx

Look for them on the website. They do make real and glass pearls so it's hard to tell.
I can tell when I put them in my mouth- glass pearls are super smooth but really pearls have a different texture that you can feel on your teeth.

They sound like they're real, but to make sure you should take them to a jeweler and ask them to examine it..that way you can be 100% sure.

Rub them against your teeth or bit on them very gently. If they're smooth, then they're not real. If they're gritty then, they're real. Good luck. 2D
