Yes of course. People can get obsessed to all kinds of games. No matter if its sports games or roleplaying games. I watched this show on TV, there was a guy so obsessed with games that he thought it was his real life. He killed himself because one of the girls on the roleplaying game wouldn't marry him. If you become to obsessed you may find yourself skipping sleeping, and regular things you do each day just to play the game, which is of course bad. It's okay to play games though, just don't become so obsessed that you can't live without it. My Father and Brother, have WOW aka World of Warcraft, and there obsessed. Thankfully not too obsessed, lol. So it's wise to not obsess extremely over games.

Yes they can and its easy too tell if u spend all summer playing vidio games every chance you get and maybe skip meals just cause your too busy playin a game then your obbsesed with it

Yes! Definitely! I am obsessed with my ds, I play like 5 hours a day. They definitely can be an obsession. Sometimes it is not a good thing though....I am starting to not see as well and I get in trouble for playing almost all afternoon XD

Anything can become an obsession, video games just cause obsession in a lot of people, especially kids.

YES.......Video games are one of the worst obsession (Next to drugs) Especially in games, many people end up playingfor hours on end and lose interest in anything else

I had a roommate who played 38hrs straight, he had a problem. He'd broken many controllers and even some consoles and TV's. I've heard of programs much like AA for gamers.

yes, my brother in law (12 yrs old) is completely addicted. he plays 24/7, cries if my husband beats him, throws things at the tv and refuses to get off.... so BE CAREFUL

Yeah it sucks but if you're not careful video games can take over your life... like it did to my friend...
