By leaving him. Abuse won't change... I know you don't want to hear that but it's the truth... If he's hurting you, he's not worth your time and you could do so much better..

Please be safe and get out of that relationship before something seriously bad happens to you...

Best of luck.

Leave.

It's almost certain he won't change. To assume he will change is naive, and it's a basic misunderstanding of the mind of an abuser.

If you think he'll change, you are reasoning that he will be able to control himself. However, any person who actually is capable of controlling himself would not have hit you in the first place. He's so out of touch with reality that he didn't understand something basic enough that a three-year-old can understand: Don't hit people.

If a woman is injured or killed as a result of a violent spouse or boyfriend, you can bet it wasn't the first time there was a warning sign. They had been abused over a period of time, and each time they justify continuing the relationship. Don't be one of those women.

No one deserves to be abused. Boyfriends, husbands, wives, girlfriends -- they're supposed to make you feel GOOD about yourself. They're supposed to provide you with a sense of security and love and care. He either doesn't know how to be a good boyfriend, or he doesn't care.

Either way, staying with him will only lead you to heartbreak.

Find strength from within and whoop his A$$!!! No, but for real run, run and run. Leave him before the situation escalates into something more. Don't let him see your weak side, BE STRONG!! Most men that abuse women do it because they see they can. They tend to hit a weaker vessel (woman) to appear stronger to themselves!

There is no way to stop him, you must leave him. His problem will only continue and probably only get worse. As hard as it sounds, you must leave him and QUICK! There are woman's shelters to keep you safe, I would suggest finding one. Trust me there are millions of other guys out there who will treat you like the princess that you are.

Get a new life. You can't change anyone. You should respect yourself enough to make him an 'x' and move on. Contact the police if you need protection, and by all means move on.

You can't. Call a abuse hotline and leave right away! Try to leave while he is at work or not home.
