Huh? I'm neither one and I think that violent video games should go in the trash where they belong, right along with pornography. But, I see no point in outlawing either, though more stringent controls would be a nice thing. This question is stereotyping gone amuck lol.

The them "socialists" refers to those who advocate for govt control of industry -- it's an economic and political model for resource ownership, so it's difficult to understand how that would apply to your question.

As far as "religious terrorists", as with your other question, the term is too vague since different religions have different fanatic groups that seek to accomplish different goals.

But, that being said, those who oppose both violent video games and pornography tend to do some from a "moral protection" standpoint. They believe that children should not be exposed to certain content or information, and that parents are not sufficient to protect the children. Therefore, it falls to govt legislation to set censorship standards for what children (or adults) are allowed to see.

Huh?

Not a socialist, certainly not religious... what then do I think of violent video games? They're violent; so's tv. The people who play them seem kind of vapid to me; in other words, pretty much like everyone else, except they play these dumb games... I don't care if they play them... keeps them off the street

But I know in my heart of heart that they are a waste of time. Same with pornography. You like 'em? Go for 'em. I still will call it like I see it. Violent stupid passtimes are for violent stupid people.
