I would prefer to be picked by the asker myself . Though just today I got 10 points for a vote from 8 months ago and rather enjoyed that since it's been out there for so long .

Yes but I would rather get it that way than nothing, everyone's opinion counts. I said something awful once about a particular group and had negative votes but still won the 10 points, go figure.

Nah, not really. It just takes longer when it has to go to voting. I like the quick gratification when the person asking chooses their best answer. It's usually quite fast around here!
