10- Playing chess is the only thing i have in common with some of the most important people in history. Think about for $10 bucks you can play the same game that some the greatest emporers and kings played.
Also it is a very easy game to learn, but it takes a lifetime to master

European Chess a great game of strategy that works the mind! +10 (most ppl that don't normally don't like chess: to enjoy a game of chess you have to understand the value of each piece, and never trade a piece of greater value for one of lesser value. 9pts Queen, 5pts Rook, 3pts Bishop, 3pts Knight, 1pt Pawn. Once you start playing chess with this undertanding... you may find you'll enjoy playing it much more.)
I like Go (Weiqi) also another great game that works the mind.
Want to try something different try, Xiangqi (Chinese chess) it's a variation of chess... The chinese version has cannons... they move like rooks and can only attack by leap frogging over another piece on the board! the paws can move sideways once they cross the center and enter the opponents side of the board, they have chariots which work identically to rooks, knights work the kinda the same one straight and one diagonal move per turn, but they can't jump over pieces while moving (which means they can be blocked). Elephant kind move like bishops but they only move 2 spaces diagonally and cant cross the center of the board. General moves like a king but cannot leave the palace. The generals cannot move into direct sight of the enemy general (on the same row without a piece in between them.) The General virtually acts like a rook on the enemy generals' playing piece. The General has two guards and must also stay within the palace. The guards only can move one space diagonally. (There is no queen in Chinese chess)

10, I like chess, only because I am naturally good at it. I was the best in the chess club last year, and I hardly play chess, try playing chess, it comes naturally for me.

10. If Moses had come down from the mountain, and instead of the tablets of commandments, he would have told the Israelites about this cool new game called chess that God taught him... I might still be religious...
