Actually, a person who menstruates can only get their periods 4 times a year. This is usually controlled by the use of birth control. In a 28 day packet, there are 3 weeks which are actual birth control medicine and 1 week placebo. Because your period only takes place the week you take a placebo pill, you can lengthen the time between periods by skipping the placebo week and beginning a new pack on the day you should start your placebo pills. At 13, I would not suggest you take birth control unless it was recommended by a qualified physician.

I'm not really sure what you're asking, but there is a birth control pill which allows women to menstruate less frequently than the normal once-a-month, but they can be very disruptive to your hormones and they probably would not prescribe is to someone your age. If you're just starting to get your period, it may not come regularly. When I got my first one, it was about 5 or 6 months before I got my second, then it regulated itself after a year or two.

You should be asking this in 'Women's Health,' not history. However, no, there is no pill for you to take to get your period. Allow nature to run its course, it will come when your body is ready. A family friend never got one..and she has four children now. Now...go ask your Mom about menstruation.

This IS NOT the site to ask this question!! Try Women's Health, and leave this site to history buffs. Your question has NOTHING to do with history.

Chow!!

always consult the doctor, don't take matters in your own hands. it could be risky (health-wise). better check with your nearest OB-GYN for more info and options.

good luck! =D
