Hi everyone! I just bought 4 barely used tires off of ebay. The seller conveniently left out the fact that there was white paint on one of the tires. If there is a way to get the white paint off the tires rather than try to get my money back. I would rather just get the paint off. Is there any way to get dried white paint off my tires that just came in? Will paint thinner work or will it ruin the strength of my tire. If anyone knows how to handle this that would be great. Thanks Everyone!

Don't use any solvents or chemicals. That will eat the rubber.

Of course, if the paint is only on the tread it will just wear off on its own.

just turn them around and put the white to the inside. white sidewalls went out in style years ago and they still have stock they cannot get rid of. cheaper and just as good. you simply cannot see the white when you reverse them. that is, get the tire dealer to reverse them. no biggie.
