The GSXR 600, 750 or 1000 is NOT a good starter bike.
Why not try and get something quite a bit cheaper. Just get a 250 - 500cc. Get riding experience, Its not good to jump straight onto a large bike at $10,000 - $15,000. What happens if it falls over and cracks a fairing (and this does happen quiet often) A fairing for one of those things is approx $1400 colour coded with stickers. Start out on something small, And buying a COOL road bike isn't going to save you. It isn't COOL when you see a beginner learning on over 500cc road bike whos waiting for a death sentance. GET EXPERIENCE BEFORE YOU BUY A DECENT ROAD BIKE

I would suggest you look for a second hand 250cc, like a Honda Rebel. Do a learner's course. They use bikes such as these, and for a small expense, you will find out whether motorcycling is for you or not. Do not even THINK about a GSXR; not even a 600. That bike will out accelerate just about any auto! Same goes for Yamaha R6 or Honda CBR.
If you like your bike, you will not lose much money when you are ready to move up to the next bike.

That is a suzuki GSX-R 1000 2005 or 2006 this is way too much bike for you! I would suggest a gixxer 600 I believe they make a yellow and black on in the 2007 mdl.

Yeah, a GSXR is a great starter bike...not. You're out of your league, buy a smaller, more forgiving bike and learn to crawl before you try to run.

Go to every dealership to see whats out there, see how you fit and learn the prices. Taking a riding course would be your best 1st step, they're free or cheap in most states.
