Liberals don't understand questions like this. They don't like their self righteous right to universal free health care lampooned. These people want you and I to pay their medical bills so they can have enough money for the latest IPOD. Anyone who thinks our government could manage a universal health care system is either uneducated or naive. They can't balance their checkbook, and you want to turn over your medical care to these idiots!

PETA's founder said: “When it comes to pain, love, joy, loneliness, and fear, a rat is a pig is a dog is a boy. Each one values his or her life and fights the knife.” Sounds to me like she was equating animal/human life. I don't think any animal should be treated cruelly, but I think animal rights folks take this a little too far. A fish experiences loneliness? Please.

There is pet health insurance. But most people don't get it because vet costs are far cheaper than human healthcare. BTW, how is universal health care a far left system? It isn't. It's a more democratic system. Canada isn't far left, neither is the U.K or France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Japan, the Czchech Republic, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Swedan, Norway or Finland. All of these European countries and others have Universal healthcare that works very well and none of them are far left.

BTW, could you please prove your statement that far left liberals believe animals are more important than humans. That is, prove it by credible argumentation and credible links that prove it.

Actually any healthcare I have had to get for my dogs including anesthesia is way more affordable than having one visit with my primary care provider.

So maybe it is the healthcare industry that thinks money is more important than your health.

Jahpson, it may be a joke, but I guess our sense of humors are different.

Hmmm not a bad idea but the far left libs have a buddy called PETA that says all dogs, cats, parrots etc... should be set free from human slavery so not sure if they could get their support for it.

Okay, first of all, thanks for acknowledging that your question is only for "far left" liberals, at least in the details. But I seriously doubt that even many far left liberals think animals are "more important than humans." Really, you need to come up with something better than this.

There already is pet insurance, and I can't afford that either.

The "greatest" country in the world is ranked 37th in health care. Certainly we could have the best universal system if we cared for our citizens as much as our pets.

Now there's an excellent idea. If I'm forced into Universal Health care, I demand the same for my critters. My Vet bills are extremely high and the taxes that I will be forced to pay to take care of others, will no doubt crimp my style.

Yes, equal rights for my animals and I DEMAND that the taxpayers take care of it!

Thanks! :)

One may already purchase veterinary insurance; the rates are quite reasonable, actually.

And why do you want US Children to suffer and die for lack of health care?

Why do you support the medical industry that bribes our politicians so they can defraud US Citizens to make a profit while promising health care?
