The list price is $34.99. Borders and Barnes & Noble are offering it at a 40% discount, which comes to $20.99. Barnes & Noble's membership price is $18.89. Because Borders' online store is affiliated with Amazon.com, both Borders and Amazon.com are offering online orders of 17.99 (a 49% discount). Best price I've managed to find has been Wal-mart, which at $17.87 is twelve cents cheaper than Amazon.com.

Ah, the joys of capitalism... every place is trying to get you to buy it through their company (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Borders, etc) so the price is anywhere from $17-$35.
You might want to pre-order it or reserve a copy wherever you choose to go.

on Amazon it's about $20 but in bookstores it's probably around $30-$35

i have the barnes and noble membership so i only have to pay like 18 bucks for it. otherwise itll probly be a lot more from a normal bookstore. cuz i get 40 percent off of the retail price from my membership. so retail is roughly 25 bucks.

between 18-35 dollars. amazon has the best price. i would say average price is around 20 bucks.

depends where you buy it, more local places will be more expensive than big chains and the internet
